Lost our good friend Nancy Davis this day, July 25, 2016

...cancer sucks...

Nancy A Davis
Place of birth: Allentown, Pennsylvania

Nancy A. Davis passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2016 at Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida from complications related to her ongoing fight with cancer. She is survived by her daughter Linda Loeser, Linda's husband Kurt and grandchildren Kurt Loeser of Long Island and Michael Loeser of Kentucky as well as her loving Husband, Robert Kirk Davis of Naples, Florida.

Nancy was born on September 25, 1949 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to the late Wilbur and Elsie Zellers. Nancy moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1981 before relocating to Naples, Florida in 1991. Nancy was an intelligent and caring woman with a deep well of love and kindness. She enjoyed helping others and often donated to help those in need whether they were orphaned pets or underprivileged children. She devoted herself to her family throughout her life and always put their needs before her own.

There has never been a time when Nancy did not show her glowing smile. Nancy's smile was so vibrant and refreshing, every time she entered the room she made everybody smile. Nancy wanted to be remembered as she was in life and therefore requested that no funeral but a memorial service be held in her local place of employment, Wilson Lighting, 2465 Trade Center Way. To try and reconcile her wishes with the desire of those that loved her to be able to have a chance to say goodbye, a remembrance event will be planned @ 5:30PM Monday, August 1, 2016.

Nancy was a complex woman and her passing leaves those of us that cared for her with a wide range of memories and emotions. Therefore, her family encourages everyone to take the best of those memories and emotions and pass them on to those in their life through words and actions, so that in some small way, the best of her will live on through you.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to: American Cancer Society or Avow Hospice of Naples, Florida in her name
